Community Engagement
HADC has begun a new initiative that focuses on ways to improve our community and help our fellow residents. Hopefully, these activities will also allow us to reach people with whom we don't normally engage.

We collected specific items for the Hempfield Food Pantry for delivery in early December. They needed the following:
Canned peaches, regular size
Canned pears, regular size
Canned mandarin oranges, regular size
Spaghetti sauce, plastic jar, regular size
Peanut butter, plastic jar, regular size
Jelly, plastic jar, regular size
Canned chicken, small

We assembled Personal Care Kits for Hempfield School Nurses to be given to students as needed. The nurses voiced their need for kits of this type. The kits included the following travel size items.
Toothpaste and toothbrush
Deodorant
Shampoo & conditioner
Bodywash
Tampons/pads (for girls)
