Theron Mitchell for School Board Director

A lifelong resident of Lancaster County, Theron has spent the last five in the Hempfield School District. He has a preschool-age daughter, who will attend school in the district.  He owns and operates a landscaping and hauling company.

Theron is running to be on the board because he wants to ensure that the district’s teachers are equipped with enough resources to improve learning outcomes for all students. He believes the district should show every child they belong and that they can excel academically.

As a business owner, Theron knows how to manage projects and budgets. He is responsible for his business’ success. Similarly, he believes that school board directors should be responsible for Hempfield students’ success.
